I am Myth – Artist Manifesto
My body of work embodies a constant movement between the personal and the collective—a flow of symbols and collective archetypes that transform into personal meaning. It is a visual expression of my life’s journey as a soul, a human, and a woman, where a pantheon of dreams, imagination, and vision is brought to life through drawing, sculpture, performance, photography, research, and tattoos.
The world of imagery I create draws from diverse sources: dreams, comparative mythology, anthropology, shamanism, spirituality, and philosophy. It leaves traces of forgotten histories and primal spaces from which my personal language emerges, guided by the endless curiosity of the inner child within me.
My work seeks to awaken the heart, empower the soul, and evoke remembrance of the fundamental soul-identity within us—a presence that is ever changing, always unfolding, told through the planetary reality of which we are a part of.
Through my personal connection with ancestral lineages, from the dawn of history and beyond space and time, I seek to discover the spiritual mothers and fathers within the collective human library. I recognize myself as an integral part of an eternal intergenerational epigenetic chain and embrace the task of deciphering and recreating the heritage laid before us, which shapes us as a human society in every era. This is done out of a desire to understand my identity and participate in shaping the present and future of humanity—to contribute to evolution.
My art is a spiritual activism. A way to become a vessel for ritual.
We have been given this paradise, the Earth, to work and preserve—and the gardener is the tool. From mud, water, and divine spark, the world is born again & again. We must find spiritual teachers in life, and we must also become spiritual teachers for those around us and for ourselves. These teachers are bridges between past, present, and future – creating roots and wings.
Be all that you can be and all that you dream to be in this life.
