How wonderful that you’ve arrived!
I’m Yasmin Bergner, and I would be honored to be your community tattoo artist.
What exactly is a community tattoo artist?
The community I associate myself with is a community of people interested in growth, empowerment, and spiritual exploration. People who strive to improve themselves and their surroundings in a conscious and responsible way.
My community is a growing one: universal, humanistic, and ecological, moving step by step toward a more conscious humanity—among other ways, through the understanding of the science known as Sacred Geometry.
Through it, we can better understand the world around us, others, and ourselves, raise our vibration, and create a kind of magic in our lives for a fulfilled and happy existence.
Over the past decade and a half, I have developed a method I call Spiritual Guidance Through Tattoos©.
Have you ever thought about the fact that a tattoo is “for life”, and therefore deserves to be connected to your values and inner essence?
Did you know that it’s possible to combine the creation of a tattoo with a personal development process?
Would you agree that a tattoo can be a talisman of empowerment, one that appears in your life at exactly the right time?
If you answered yes to these questions, I warmly invite you to a consultation meeting, where we will explore how your current desire for a tattoo connects with your life here and now—and what you would like to receive from it as an empowering talisman for your life.
This is a deep and personal design and tattoo process, which is essentially a rite of passage and personal initiation.
During this process we will explore the sources that inspire the design, and perhaps also study Sacred Geometry, when it is relevant to the tattoo we create and to understanding its meaning.
Like the shamanic tattoo artists hundreds and thousands of years before us, I too believe that a tattoo is an object of power—a tool for personal empowerment and for defining both personal and collective identity.
My specialization combines tribal tattoos, ancient art, dot work, and Sacred Geometry.
At the beginning of my journey, Polynesian tattooing opened a window for me into an entire world. That path, in turn, opened the gate to the extraordinary realm of Sacred Geometry.
Sacred Geometry is a universal language of patterns embedded in everything that exists. Nature, biology, the human body, and astronomical objects are all built from the same patterns. It is the place where art and mathematics meet, and where the artist becomes a scientist.
Over the years, I have independently researched the history and anthropology of tattooing around the world, while remaining both a lifelong teacher and student of Sacred Geometry.
For me, the art of tattooing is a powerful channel through which we can transform our bodies into works of art—part of an ongoing, lifelong process of becoming.
“My consciousness is a treasure; my body is a temple.”
A vessel for expanding awareness.
A little about myself…
I am a multidisciplinary artist and tattoo artist. Over the years I studied art at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, and Art Therapy at Lesley College.
I learned tattooing from Amalia Zand (AKA “The Great Bear”), one of the pioneers of tattooing in Israel.
I love drawing, sculpting, and wood carving. I enjoy creating performances, tattooing, and writing about various fields of art and tattoo culture.
I am also the mother of Zohar, 19 years old.
Leonardo da Vinci and others taught us that the human being is a measuring scale of the universe.
Some basic examples of Sacred Geometry in nature and biology include the Fibonacci Spiral (also known as the Golden Ratio), the number Pi, the five Platonic solids, the Torus, and the Flower of Life pattern.
As a spiritual guide through tattooing and a teacher of Sacred Geometry, it is my mission to pass this knowledge on to my clients and students.
This body of knowledge is a healing, balancing, and empowering toolkit for well-being.
If you’re wondering how such abstract ideas connect to everyday life—I have a lot to say about that.
On my website you will find, besides my original tattoo creations, articles I have written about Sacred Geometry and tattoo culture. You can also explore my artworks and documentation of art exhibitions I have curated.
Finally, I now have a home that gathers all of my work in one place—and that is truly not something I take for granted.
I want to thank Studio Shaked for building this beautiful digital home with such great talent.
Feel free to share, comment, and of course… contact me to design a unique and beautiful tattoo that speaks from your soul and to your soul.
With love,
Yasmin
