Artist's vision

I am Yasmin Bergner, a multi-disciplinary artist, a spiritual guide through tattooing, an art therapist, and a researcher of tattoo anthropology and sacred geometry. For over 25 years, I have been working at the intersection of art, body, and soul.

My work bridges ancient traditions, emotional processes, and personal evolution—connecting aesthetic creation with profound personal growth.

Throughout my years as a tattoo artist since 2007, I developed the professional training program: “Tattoos as a Therapeutic Tool – Touching the Soul Through the Skin.” Designed for professional tattooists, this program integrates the tattooing process with Jungian psychology, Nonviolent Communication (NVC), mindfulness, archetypes, and the Hero’s Journey.

Tattooing as a process of personal development and a rite of passage and initiation

In my studio, a tattoo is not just an aesthetic creation—it is a conscious, personal, and meaningful process.

The work begins with listening: to your personal story, your emotional needs, and the specific stage of life you are currently in.

From this space, a collaborative creative process unfolds, resulting in a unique talisman—a one-of-a-kind tattoo that holds a profound influence over both your internal and external reality.

In this process, we:

My approach is trauma-informed; it strengthens personal boundaries and allows the body to be treated as an evolving life journal.

Sacred Geometry and the Language of Form and Symbol

I teach Sacred Geometry as a universal visual language—one that connects the codes of nature with the patterns of the soul and the cosmos.

My work is rooted in interdisciplinary research, encompassing mythology, anthropology, Jungian psychology, and the history of ancient civilizations.

I create through an understanding of:

art and research

Alongside my work as a tattoo artist, I create across a variety of mediums: sculpture, wood carving, performance art, and drawing.

My artistic practice converges into a body of work that explores the nature of reality, human identity, and cross-cultural connections.

Courses and training

Tattoos as a Therapeutic Tool – A groundbreaking training for tattoo artists, emphasizing:

  • Tattooing as a mind-body therapeutic tool.

  • Developing a personal symbolic language.

  • Creating a safe and attentive space in the studio.

  • Promoting a culture of conscious art—one that respects the body, strengthens the soul, and connects individuals to themselves and their environment.

I view tattooing as a social and cultural tool for healing, female empowerment, and a connection to values of compassion, freedom, and personal responsibility.

My work is an invitation: Not just to get a tattoo, but to undergo a process. Not just to learn a technique, but to develop a broad consciousness, sensitivity, and empathy for others.

The Hero’s Journey for Children and Youth For educators, therapists, creators, and parents.
