Yasmine worked at Urim Special Education School in Haifa as an art therapist, facilitating both individual and group sessions. In her work, she provided emotional and educational support for a range of challenges faced by students and staff. Her program, *The Hero’s Journey for Children and Youth*, strengthened emotional communication, encouraged creative and imaginative expression, and offered meaningful tools for positive educational work. Yasmine Bergner developed and taught the program at the "Khilah" Democratic School in Tel Aviv (2013 - 2014). During those years, I served as a school counselor and mentor at the school. I met Yasmine Bergner at the "Kehila" Democratic School in Tel Aviv, for two years (2013 – 2014) when she developed and taught an original program she created: The Hero's Journey for children and youth. My name is Esther Tamuz. I am a retired special education lead teacher at the Hematology-Oncology Department at Dana-Dwek Children’s Hospital, Ichilov. Yasmine worked as an art therapist in the department for approximately three years, supporting children and adolescents coping with cancer, as well as their families. Her work was marked by deep sensitivity and a remarkable ability to reach the emotional world of her patients and ease their distress. We also collaborated on the creation of a therapeutic book for children with cancer, based on *The Hero’s Journey*, which Yasmine illustrated with vibrant, original artwork. To this day, the book remains a meaningful emotional resource in oncology departments across the country. This experience later inspired Yasmine to develop *The Hero’s Journey for Children and Youth*, a program that integrates therapy, education, and creativity through a holistic approach.
